Boat Shed Currumbin

Last week you may remember I wrote about my road trip to the Gold Coast to catch up with one of my suppliers and beautiful friend Lisa of Oars Galore at the Boat Shed in Currumbin.
Isn't her view from her boat shed to die for?
I mentioned that Lisa also provides interior decorator services and has styled homes, shops and also the Boat Shed bar & restaurant. Here are some snippets of her work at the Boat Shed bar with a touch of all things coastal vintage.
An old lifering of ours was custom painted by Lisa and is now displayed at the entrance.
Crab pot lights illuminate the bar area with a soft glow.
Old ship's wheel sits perfectly on the bar adding a nautical touch.
Another crab pot serves as a plant holder
Isn't this idea of displaying plants inside old fishing creels fabulous?
To hide an old security grate, Lisa has hung up an old Japanese fishing net with original glass floats still attached....
and has also hung another old fishing net and added a couple of big old glass floats to cover another side of the bar.
 And there is Lisa! :)
and a clam shell filled with succulents. Simply beautiful.
until next time,

lover of the sea and all things coastal vintage
